Is your sleeping habit good?
If not, you should read this. (Especially woman)
A long time ago, we always consider sound sleeping as a night of good sleep. But these days, even some doctors will say that the quality of sleep is more important than the length. And to achieve good sleep, most of us will choose the way like reading a book or listening to music. But there are still many people who like to watch TV before sleep.
From the research, it shows that watching TV is not a bed for a good night's sleep. Watching TV may help you fall asleep faster than sleeping without TV, but the TV screen will make your brain produce a hormone.
This hormone will cause you sleepiness while your screen right in front of your eyes. So if you want a good night's sleep, turn off your TV and go to bed earlier.
In a study about sleeping patterns in America, it shows that about 70 % of American people get less than seven hours of sleep per night. Another survey has shown that a big percentage of children is getting less than 8 hours of sleep per night.
Dr. Greg Belenky, the author of this survey was surprised, "We were startled by how consistent these patterns are and how extensive the negative impact on our health is."
According to Dr. Belenky, the survey has shown exclusively that people who had slept less than 7 hours or above 9hours were less likely to be healthy. What is the specific result? "The research shows that people who had seven hours of sleep a day are 24% more likely to gain weight or look fatter than those who sleep at eight hours."
So if you want to live a healthy life, you should fix your sleeping habit. You can not only eliminate the sedentary lifestyle you spend on your office, but also improve your academic grades and become more productive in work. My experience tells me that how important it is to wake up at 8:00 every day.
If students do so they will get ready early for the class, have enough time for lunch, wash and prepare for the next class, study and do homework. And they will have time to do some exercise before going to sleep or before class. That will make students feel that they are in their best condition every day. I also feel that students' sleep affects their grades, especially for exam days and quizzes.
Sometimes I consider how I sleep badly when I take an exam. These things make me wonder how can we ensure that we get enough sleep every day. So, the message of this article is as follows: you should wake up early, go to bed early, and know the benefits of sleeping early. Hopefully, my message will help you in understanding your importance of sleeping and being healthy every day!
